Migrant Crisis Riots - UK 8/14/24

Summary:

The United Kingdom (UK) is in internal struggle. War in the Middle East brings many Muslim Migrants to towns such as Luton, UK. The locals claim they are losing their culture, being given second priority, and having to live by another cultural standard. Many locals fear for their safety.

People on both sides are seeking to unify despite differences, and find balance in a time of huge cultural change in the UK.

Reflection Questions:

• Should people always have the right to flee a warzone and take up life in safer places?

• When entering a new culture, is it better to adopt the culture, live by one's own culture, or merge the two?

• Does migrating in large groups change this?
